Cowslip Farm

Just spent a few nights at Cowslip Farm Campsite near York and it was honestly lush. No filters needed the place looks exactly like the photos. Peaceful, loads of space, and properly scenic without feeling too remote.

It’s about a 15-minute walk to the local shops and pubs which was ideal, and only around half an hour on the bus into York city centre so spot on location-wise if you want a bit of both countryside and city.

The field was quiet, no crowds, and the vibe was chilled. Set the rooftop tent up with no hassle. Only downside really was the wind proper gusty at times but nothing major. Just made the tent flap a bit more than usual, which isnt the sites fault obviously.

Shower and toilet on site with washing up area also – internet and electric hookup was perfect too.

Would 100% come back, hopefully when it’s a bit calmer weather-wise. Really liked it.
