Foxtails Holiday Park

Pulled into Foxtails Holiday Park for my first night TentBoxing and of course – it was absolutely chucking it down. Not even a light drizzle, full-on sideways rain. It was one of those “get out, get the tent up, get in and don’t look back” jobs. No time for scenic views or chilled setups, just survival mode.

Once I was in, though, I was dry, warm, and the TentBox held up brilliantly – didn’t flap about, no leaks, no drama. Still had to leg it to the pub across the road for some food, absolutely soaked through by the time I got there (worth it for the pint though).

Wind picked up overnight, but the tent didn’t move an inch – solid as a rock. Come morning? Glorious sunshine. Birds singing, blue skies, the lot. Classic British weather.

All in all – brilliant little park, cracking location, great facilities and WiFi, i paid for electric hookup too, and the TentBox absolutely proved itself. Trial by storm and it passed with flying colours. Definitely coming back – hopefully next time with a bit less drama from the sky.
