My Honest Review of the Eurohike Mobile Mains Kit (15m)

James July 2, 2025

We usually have a laptop, two phones and a light plugged in, all running through it at once, and it’s been completely solid.

We’ve been using the Eurohike Mobile Mains Kit on our camping trips for a while now, and honestly, I wouldn’t camp without it now — especially since we use a TentBox XL.

The 15-metre cable is one of the biggest pluses. It’s long enough to reach the electric hookup no matter where we park up, even on pitches where the power point isn’t right next to us. It’s just one less thing to stress about when setting up.

Inside the tent, it’s been really useful too. The unit has metal hooks so you can hang it up — we clip ours inside the TentBox to keep it off the floor and out the way. It makes everything neater and safer, especially with multiple wires coming off it.

We usually have a laptop, two phones and a light plugged in, all running through it at once, and it’s been completely solid. No tripping, no overheating — just works. The built-in RCD is reassuring too, knowing we’re protected if anything ever did go wrong.

The sockets all have covers, which is handy for keeping everything dry when we’re not using them, and the build quality feels tough enough to last. It’s not the lightest bit of gear (it is a bit chunky), but that’s never been a problem for us since we’re car camping with the TentBox.

If you’re heading anywhere with electric hookup, I’d say this is a solid investment. It’s saved us loads of hassle and made camping feel a bit more like home, especially with things like electric blankets or charging everything overnight.

Would definitely recommend.
